This is the mailing list of the IETF Better
Than Nothing Security (BTNS) working group.
BTNS focuses on augmenting the capabilities
of the current Internet network security protocol suite to
allow unauthenticated associations, to enable deployment of
a level of network level protection in the absence of pre-shared
keys or key authentication infrastructure.

IETF BTNS BOF at IETF 62, Minneapolis, March
2005

The second BTNS BOF entitled "BTNS:
Better Than Nothing Security" was held
on Monday March 7 at 13:00-15:00. Sam Weiler hosted as BOF
chair.
The primary purpose of this BOF is to discuss
the draft WG charter.

IETF BTNS BOF at IETF 61, Wash DC, Nov. 2004

We held a BOF based on ANONSEC issues entitled
"BTNS: Better Than Nothing Security" at IETF 61
in Wash. DC, on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004, from 9:00-11:30am.

chair.
