Letter of Invitation

IEEE Global Internet 2005 aims to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss advances in Internet-related technologies. The focus of the symposium is on experimental systems and on emerging Internet technologies. Of particular interest are original speculations about the future of the Internet, progressive position papers, and submissions describing promising work in progress. More information about specific topics of interest is available in the Call for Papers.

Symposium18-19 March 2005

Submission requirements for the final papers are posted under Submission Guidelines. They are largely unchanged from the original submission guidelines and are managed through EDAS. Note that the final date for submissions is moved to 2 March.

The IEEE Communications Society Internet Technical Committee is the technical cosponsor of the 8th IEEE Global Internet Symposium.


Proceedings will be separate from the IEEE Infocom proceedings, and will be a smaller affair, more suited to the workshop-like nature of the Symposium. They may be electronic only, but current plans are to make them widely enough available to be cited.
