[e2e] Spec for cable-based home networking

I have to point out at this juncture that the "David P. Reed, Ph.D." who is 
Senior VP at CableLabs in charge of all of these standards (including 
CableHome) is NOT me.

Just in case anyone is confused...  in this case, since the architecture 
clearly attempts to put end-to-end functions into the network, I would 
never support such a design.
