This may become quite difficult.

When I read Bob´s post, my spontaneous thought was: "what is
connectionless?"

Of course, TCP is connection oriented. What about proprietary UDP based
protocols without a label "I´m a connection!"?
What about secure IP stuff, where you only see a large number of
packets?
What about multicast protocols for Internet radio?

You see just packets. However it´s not always clear what´s _behind_
those packets.
