The Postel Center supports the Internet community through research and development projects, hosting visiting scholars and students in the spirit and in honor of the life-long accomplishments of Dr. Jonathan B. Postel, Internet pioneer.

Essentials of the Center

The Center includes:

• Dedicated laboratory space for experiments in networking at USC-ISI. The lab provides an environment where applied research is conducted with leading edge equipment, software, and facilities.
• Visiting Research Scholar positions that enable on-site participation from industry, academia, or government.
• Graduate Student Fellowship positions awarded to outstanding graduate students, who work with the center resources and visitors.
• Sudent research positions, which enable select USC undergraduate and graduate students to participate in center research.
